Pedigree

Alexander the Great and Silver Queen are the parents of our kittens. There ancestry is from Russia and the Ukraine. We have their pedigree documents going back three generations, showing that they are purebred Maine Coons. A copy of their pedigree papers will be offered to our buyers at the time of pick-up.

Associations

Our cattery is registered with TICA and the ACFA. We register each litter with the ACFA as well.

How to help new Maine Coon kitten adjust to their new home

Maine Coon kittens will naturally be nervous about going to a new home. They tend to run and hide as far away as possible for the first couple of days. It’s important to allow them to do this as they become familiar with their new environment. Leave food and water where they can access it easily. We don’t recommend enclosing them in a separate place. Allow them to sniff around the whole house (which they may only do while you are sleeping!) Allow them to come to YOU rather than you forcing your affections on them.

Before you know it, they will rule the roost and enjoy snuggling and playing with you!

It is helpful to have the same food and litter as what they used previous to their adoption.

Buyer Requirements

Buyers will need to show that they have a reputable veterinarian. They will need to give a deposit to reserve their Maine Coon kitten. The balance of the payment is due on the day they pick up their new kitten. Cash is preferable. They are required to neuter/spay their Maine Coon kitten and also to have their vet verify that their kitten is healthy within 3 weeks of purchase.

Buyers must agree to not have the Maine Coon’s nails removed.
